The LILAC Civic Engagement Representative serves as the main liaison between the office of Civic Engagement and the Assembly/SGA. Some of the Civic Engagement Representative’s duties include attending Civic Engagement staff meetings and sitting in on Student Finance Committee (SFC) budget meetings where she/he/they can serve as an informant but not as a decision maker. This, however, helps streamline the process for transportation reimbursement and funding for volunteering opportunities. This position may only be held by one person, however the Civic Engagement Representative shares one vote with the other LILAC representative (Career and Personal Development) at SGA meetings.
