III. DEAN’S PANEL

  1. Matters that are beyond the ability of the Honor Board to resolve, including criminal matters, shall be brought before a Dean’s Panel. In determining whether a Dean’s Panel is appropriate, the Dean Co Chair of the Honor Board and the Head of the Honor Board must come to a signed written agreement that an escalation to a Dean’s Panel is warranted.
  2. If the Dean Co Chair of the Honor Board and Head of the Honor Board are unable to come to an agreement, the decision will pass to the President of the Student Governance Association and the Dean of the Undergraduate College who must then come to a signed agreement.
  3.  If either Dean Co Chair of the Honor Board or the Head of the Honor Board are unable to sign due to external circumstance, their designee will become either the Dean of the Undergraduate College or the Student Governance Association President respectively.
  4. Procedures for the conduct of a Dean’s Panel are found in the Student Handbook.
