Pam Gassman ‘16: We will be having one final emergency Heller Training session. A Google form will be sent out soon where people can sign up and get enrolled in the Heller Training Moodle. Additionally, if members of the community have any events that they want to host, please contact us. Please look out for traditions emails, as Hell Week is coming up soon. Our blog also is updated! Check it out at traditions.blogs.brynmawr.edu

Mikah Farboh ‘15: Come out and support the basketball team and show your colors! The game is this Tuesday, January 27th at 7:00pm at Schwartz gym. Wear your class color, or even simply any form of Bryn Mawr gear. Receive a raffle ticket at the door, and the class with the most students in attendance will have a guaranteed winning ticket pulled at halftime by Kim Cassidy for a sweet prize! The winning class will even enjoy free pizza during the second half of the game.

2. Next Sunday, SAAC will be hosting a Superbowl Viewing Party here in the Campus Center-come out to watch the game, the advertisements, or the halftime show with Katy Perry. See you at 6:30.

Charlie Bruce ‘16: For those of you making announcements: please send me a typed copy of those announcements before the meeting. Your collaboration allows me to maintain the integrity of the message, and it also ensures that all the necessary information is in the announcement. A bullet point list is fine, but a fully typed message is preferred.

Namita Dwarakanath ‘15: We’ve been trying to have conversations with the administration about financial aid policies. I met with Pelema Morrice, the Chief Enrollment Officer. If students have specific concerns to financial aid, please reach out to him. As he put it, we can’t change the policies, but we can change the support system. Bi-Co budgets are due January 28th, at 11:59PM. Please e-mail your Bi-Co budgets to bmctreasurer@gmail.com and scmoney@haverford.edu. Regular club budgets are due Saturday 31st at 5PM.
Syona Arora ‘15: Plenary will be held Sunday February 22nd. Quorum is 453. We had a great Plenary last semester and hope to see the same this semester. Resolution writing workshops will be held Monday-Friday February 2nd-7th at 7:30 PM in Taylor Seminar (second floor of Taylor). At these workshops we will walk through the basics of how to write a Plenary resolution and the subsequent steps.

Accessibility – Messages that contain announcements in the form of a flyer or image should also include the text of the announcement in the body of the e-mail! Text that appears only in images or attachments cannot be read by the screen reading software that visually impaired community members use and it can also be difficult for the increasing number of community members who read e-mail on their phones to view. Make sure everyone knows about your event by including text with the name, date, location, and other important details in the body of the email.

Simple Snacks – Wyndham is hosting ‘Simple Snacks’ for student-organized campus events and meetings – basically, instead of having to run to Acme or Trader Joe’s you can place an order for snacks through Wyndham 48 hours before the event. For the menu, email catering@brynmawr.edu or call Wyndham at (610) 526-5236.

MISO report – The MISO Survey is a web-based quantitative survey designed to measure how faculty, students, and staff view library and computing services in higher education.
All Bryn Mawr faculty and staff, and a sample of 700 undergraduate students were asked to participate in the 2014 MISO Survey. If you search “MISO” survey on the Bryn Mawr website the results will come up. A few highlights are: satisfaction with wireless has increased since 2012 and satisfaction with Moodle is high, while satisfaction with Bionic is down. Students value the library but find a lack of appropriate physical space. For more information, check out the information services page on the Bryn Mawr website.

Campus Center Fund – Student activities is now able to offer a Campus Center fund. If any individual student or student club is planning on hosting an event in the Campus Center between March 1st and May 1st, you can submit a proposal and then go through an interview process with Student activities. The proposal deadline is February 9th at 9am and the link to the application is here: https://brynmawr.wufoo.com/forms/campus-center-fund-application/ and if you have any questions please contact studentactivities@brynmawr.edu.

Syona Arora ‘15: The SGA meeting time needs to be moved, because the space is already reserved from 4PM onwards for the super bowl. We can choose options before 4 PM. When can we have the meeting?

The suggested alternative times were 1PM, 2PM, and 3PM. The representative council voted, and the winning vote was 2PM.

Connie Lam ’18: Does this meeting happen on the budget interview time.

Namz: Yes, but Connie, you’re the only person that this meeting conflicts with.

Syona Arora ’15: If this time conflicts with your schedules, please let Charlie know, and we can work out something.

Next meeting, we will hold a Representative Council vote on whether or not to invite the Deans and President Cassidy to Plenary, and then we will vote on whether or not they have ‘speaking rights’ during plenary. Keep this in mind and talk about it with your constituents during the coming week.
